Opportunity:

Ahmedabad based NRI-Non profit Trust offers a high profile opportunity for an experienced professional as the Director of Resources to make a major contribution at a critical historical moment to the growth and development of the University that offers life changing, trend setting and a standard of excellence for the nation. Director shall have the personal satisfaction of contributing to the program of enormous impact on the society.

Duties:

       Establish and implement strategic plan of Resource Developments for overall development of the mission of the Trust including Capital and operational budgets

       Design, Cultivate and Expand Corporate and individual planned Giving programs

       Develop major donor base including research, nurture, solicit and stewardship of donors for various academic programs, professorships, scholarships and endowments

       Oversee Trust’s annual schedule of fund raising events

       Develop appropriate presentations for world organizations and international foundations

       Provide comprehensive training to new hires and volunteers

       Integrate online and off line activities of the resources

       Co-ordinate with USA counter part and provide supplementary services.

Qualifications:

A Master’s degree  with ten or more years of successful experience in a major gift fund raising program in non-profit, preferably in educational environment is desired. Alternatively an experience in successful, political campaign or comparable private sector in venture capital management or senior position in investor relations department of the major stock brokerage houses can be substituted. A private list of major contacts can be a valuable asset. A computer literacy and working knowledge of Donor Database Management soft wares is desired.
